Fortune Innovation Forum 2024
Fortune Innovation Forum made a debut in Hong Kong from 27 to 28 March 2024, bringing together some 70 international speakers and over 400 participants on 27-28 March 2024 to share insights on advancements in AI, technology, sustainability, finance, talent recruitment and more.
The organiser, Fortune magazine, hailed the city as an ideal location to launch this new event series, leveraging the city’s strengths as a leading international financial centre and innovation and technology hub.
The high-profile inaugural event boasted a stellar cast of speakers, featuring brand leaders like Walmart International CEO Kathryn McLay, Google’s President Asia Pacific Scott Beaumont, Yum China’s CEO Joey Wat and C-suite leaders of Amazon, Intel, Nike, Rakuten, Cathay Pacific, Dow, Medtronic and others. Fortune’s editors led panel discussions on topics around the event theme “New Strategies for Growth”, encompassing the future of finance, the AI revolution and Web 3.0, China’s Greater Bay Area, the global ‘war for talent’, Asia’s innovation ecosystems, and the climate crisis and global energy transition.
The Forum was supported by Brand Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), and viewed as a perfect fit with HKTB’s strategy of growing globally important events to showcase Hong Kong's strong fundamentals and latest developments to business leaders attending the event. Its perfect timing in March allowed delegates to also indulge in Art March activities and other engaging happenings from day to night.
