Parties on the sea

Hong Kong’s legendary Victoria Harbour is the best place to have a dramatic floating party on board characterful vessels. The duck-shaped Dukling that is the only antique Chinese sailing junk still operating in the city is superb for a party on a vintage boat. For a more decadent experience, aqualuna, easily recognised by its illuminated red sail, is popular for cocktail parties with delicious canapés for up to 80 guests.

How about a luxurious and stylish floating party with DJ-spun music? The double decker event yacht, FLOAT, even offers floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass ceiling to maximise the views. The yacht comes with audio-visual equipment and live music entertainment.

For larger groups, there is the elegantly decorated World Star operated by Hong Kong’s most iconic Star Ferry. The inviting boat has an air-conditioned central compartment and an open deck. Also available are Harbour Cruise - Bauhinia offering vessels converted from car ferries, now able to accommodate more than 300 guests; and the Oriental Pearl, a luxurious yacht completed in 2021, which can host parties for about 480 guests.
