Island Escape in Cheung Chau

Take a deep dive into Hong Kong’s past in Cheung Chau, or “long island”, where a laid-back fishing community once thrived. The island retains much of its traditional charm, and fish is still sun-dried along the waterfront lined with fishing boats and seafood restaurants. It is also home to historical sites such as Cheung Po Tsai Cave, named after a notorious pirate, and 3,000-year-old Bronze Age rock carvings.

Take your team on an educational team-building exercise with a coastline hike along Mini Great Wall, combining a history lesson with visits to two landmark temples and a moderate workout made perfect by breath-taking scenery. All roads on the island lead to the main village where many trendy new cafes, Chinese restaurants and stalls serve up traditional delights.
